The Sindh Human Rights Commission Chairman Iqbal Ahmed Detho has emphasised on the need of implementing laws which have been legislated for protection and welfare of women workforce in the province employed in agriculture and other sectors.
Speaking at a meeting with the concerned government officials and representatives of the civil society in Sukkur district on Friday, he said women agriculture workers deserved safe and respectful workplaces.
He stressed on the importance of creating inclusive and harassment-free environments where women can thrive and contribute to economic progress besides earning their livelihood.
