A suspect arrested in the sexual assault case of a child in Mian Channuu in Khanewal district escaped from police custody on Sunday.
He was in the custody and under investigation of ASI Ashfaq from whom he escape.
Khanewal DPO Ismail Kharak suspended the ASI and ordered departmental investigation and arrest of the suspect.
