An 11-year-old girl was subjected to severe torture by her schoolteacher in the Chuhng area. The police have registered a case against the schoolteacher Maryam and the school owner on the complaint of the girl’s father Shahzad Ahmed and arrested both the accused.

11 die in road accidents: The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,407 road accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, 11 people died, whereas 1,472 were injured. Out of these, 668 people with injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 804 victims with injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue teams.
