Quetta video scandal accused acquitted

QUETTA: A district and sessions judge on Tuesday acquitted two men whom the trial court had convicted in the 2021 video scandal case.

The case of making indecent videos of girls on December 27, 2021, was heard in the Quaidabad area. Judge Pazeer Ahmed Baloch declared that the prosecution had failed to prove the case. The court also annulled the October 11, 2023, decision of the trial court. Last year, a judicial magistrate had sentenced Hidayatullah and Khaleel to three years’ imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs500,000 on them. They were convicted of imprisoning a girl at home and making an indecent video of her. Indecent videos of more girls were also recovered from the two.
