Karachi: A mother of two was gunned down by her husband at their Gulshan-e-Iqbal residence late on Tuesday night, said the police on Wednesday.SHO Irfan Ahmed said an argument broke out between Shamim Haider and his wife Zara Haider, 26, because the husband had secretly taken a second wife.
When the argument spiralled out of control, the husband shot his wife dead at their house in Block 13-D of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, added the SHO. Shamim initially told the police that he had killed his wife accidently. However, the husband later confessed to killing her intentionally, because the couple’s daily arguments had got out of control.
