Mentally-challenged girl ‘gang-raped’

KASUR: Police arrested six accused who allegedly gang-raped a mentally-challenged girl within the limits of Kot Radha Kishan police station on Wednesday.

A resident of Mazhar Colony named Shazia Bibi filed a case in police station Kot Radha Kishan, alleging that her teenage daughter, who is mentally challenged, went out and was found unconscious.

The victim was immediately taken to THQ hospital and after not receiving medical treatment, they took her to Jinnah hospital, where again they were denied medical attention.

The victim was then taken to the service hospital and at the time of discharge, it was revealed that she was gang-raped.

Shazia Bibi inquired among locals about the incident, where it was found that her daughter was seen being taken to the basement of a private restaurant by the accused Sahil alias Momti, Khalil, and three to four other unknown persons.

The victim was then reportedly gang-raped by the aforementioned suspects.

Upon receiving information about the incident, DPO Kasur Tariq Aziz Sandhu took immediate notice and issued orders for speedy action.

Kot Radha Kishan police station responded by registering a case of rape and arresting Sahil alias Momti, the main accused of gang rape.
