Man murders wife, sister as police suspect honour killing

A man gunned down his wife and sister in Satukatla here on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

The reason for the double murder could not be ascertained, but police suspected that they might have been killed for honour.

The deceased were identified as Hina and Sehrish. On information, police reached the crime scene and started investigation after shifting the dead bodies to hospital.

The murderer escaped after the crime. Police launched a manhunt for the arrest of the killer. Punjab IG Dr Usman has take notice of the incident and sought a report from the Lahore CCPO, besides issuing directives for the early arrest of the killer.
