BAHAWALPUR: A man allegedly raped a 15-year-old deaf mute girl at her house here on Wednesday at Chah Nagriwala in Lodhran Saddar police precincts.

According to a police spokesman, complainant ‘Z’ said she along with her husband went outside and her daughter was alone at home. During their absence, suspect ‘S’ entered the house and allegedly raped her daughter while his accomplice guarded their house.

She said some neighbours tried to overpower the suspect but he managed his escape. Police have registered a case under section 376 of Pakistan Penal Code and shifted the girl to DHQ hospital for medical examination.
