Pirmahal Additional District and Sessions Judge Jamshed Mubarak sentenced Muhammad Afzal to death and imposed a fine of Rs200,000 on Wednesday for the murder of Parveen Bibi in Chak 677/18 GB.
Prosecutors said that Afzal killed his brother’s widow after she rejected his marriage proposal.
He opened fire on her as she was bringing fodder home for her animals.
